Solar-Powered Hydrogen Plant Proposed to Power 7-Station Commuter System's Trains, Buses


Passengers in California could be riding from Lathrop to Dublin on zero-emmission trains, as part of a planned Valley Link Commuter Rail System.


The 42-mile rail would include seven stations, with Valley Link planners looking into a $67.1 million hydrogen plant to power the trains, with excess power to be slated for bus services.
