North America’s First Hydrogen-Powered Train Hundreds of passengers ride first train with zero emissions on North American soil.

The Hydrogen Fuel Cell Train Association (HFCTA) is a single-focused advocate organization promoting the use of Hydrogen Fuel Cell (HFC) powered trains (hydrail). Hydrail, when fueled by green hydrogen, is a cost-effective, high performing, zero-emission alternative to diesel.

HFCTA works with organizations and government agencies to educate and advocate for hydrail.

HFCTA performs non-profit interface and coordination services, connecting potential users of HFC train equipment and suppliers.
